KARACHI: The Customs Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) has started to computerise its record using the PCA-Module, developed by Directorate of Reforms and Automation, after getting access to WeBOC, automated system.
Sources informed Customs Today that the authorities concerned while following the directives of Director PCA, Gul Rehman has started to computerise the all data of directorate including the entire history of court cases which have been decided and pending in Customs Court, Sindh High Court, Collectorate of Customs Adjudications and other courts on WeBOC, automated system.
Responding to a query, sources said that the exercise of transferring the data would take at least a month.
They further said that PCA after shifting the entire data would emphasis on pleading the cases which are pending in respective courts.
“The total number of cases constituted by the authorities concerned of Directorate of Post Clearance Audit are being transferred to the PCA-Module established by the Directorate of Reforms & Automation”, sources added.
Sources said that the computerization of PCA’s record would expedite the pace of work in department; adding that it would also enhance and improve the performance of the directorate.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Directorate of Post Clearance Audit after getting access to WeBOC, last week has started its working on transferring the data on PCA automated module.
