RAWALPINDI: The preparations to mark Tax Day in Punjab on April 10 are in full swing.
Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar was given briefing in this regard during a meeting, which was also attended by Co-Convener of Divisional Focal Committee and Commissioner Rawalpindi Azmat Mahmood, RPO Fakhar Sultan Raja, DCO Sajid Zafar Dall, Deputy Commissioner Provincial Revenue Authority Rawalpindi Quratul Ain Malik, Director Excise and Taxation and EDO.
It was informed that main function on that day would be held in Lahore while the participants would assemble in Rawalpindi and participate through video link. Banners would be displayed to highlight the importance of taxation on services.
Commissioner Azmat Mehmood asked members of the committee to fulfil their tasks properly so that the day would be celebrated in letter and spirit.
