Preventive’s ASO seizes smuggled goods worth Rs7.63m

KARACHI: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of Karachi Customs Preventive has seized smuggled goods worth Rs7.63 million in different cases.

Collector Dr Iftikhar, on receiving information about smuggled contraband goods, directed Additional Collector Aamir Theim and Deputy Collector ASO Mohammad Faisal, who supervised two enforcement activities which seized 27,960kg betel nuts worth of Rs6.59 million and other smuggled goods including tyres, peanuts etc worth of Rs1.04 million.
