CANBERRA: Regional broadcaster Prime Media Group says revenue has continued to fall in the first three months of the current financial year. Chief executive Ian Audsley says that revenue falls during August had continued throughout September.
“Disappointingly, by the end of the September quarter the market had declined 7.2 per cent, and Prime’s revenue had declined 7.9 per cent as a result of the V8 Supercar Series moving to the Ten Network and Fox Sports, and the AFL Grand Final being staged in the first week of October rather than its usual date in late September,” he told shareholders at the company’s annual general meeting.
