Sharifs paid Rs 13m  property tax

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has paid property tax amounting to Rs Rs 13 million for Fiscal Year 2015-16.

Sources told Customs Today that they paid Rs 1.25 million property tax on Jati Omra (Raiwind) property and Rs 39237 on the house of Model Town to Punjab Excise Department.

Sources said that side Chairman of Pakistan Awani Tehrik (PAT) Dr Tahir ul Qadri sons Hassan Mahiud Deen and Hussain Madiud Deen paid Rs 10909 under the head of property tax and former Chief Minister Punajab Chaudhary Pervaiz Ilahi paid Rs 76000 as property tax.

The sources said that Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan still have to pay Rs 14207 in property tax on the house of Zaman Park and Punjab Excise will collect property tax from Chairman PTI with surcharge.
