ISLAMABAD: Syed Irshad Ali Shah, Principal Appraiser, has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.
The disciplinary proceedings, under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 were initiated against the officers posted at Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs), Karachi, vide Charge Sheet No.2(71)/2013-Cust-III-Pt dated 25.01.2016.
Adnan Rafiq, Deputy Collector, Appraisement-West, Karachi, was appointed as inquiry officer to conduct inquiry into the charges levelled against the officer.
On the basis of inquiry report, the authorized officer/Chief (Management-Customs) has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him. However, the officer was warned to be careful in future.
