Problems in web portal: KTBA asks FBR to extend date of ST returns e-filing

KARACHI: Taxpayers and tax consultants are facing problems in e-filing the monthly Sales Tax Return for the Tax Period of June 2018, due to non-functioning of the FBR web portal.

In a letter sent to the chairman FBR, the Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) has said that they were facing severe problems in e-filing the monthly Sales Tax Return for the Tax Period of “June 2018” as required under section 26 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, due to non-working of FBR web portal and slow internet services at FBR data centre as communicated by Member-IT, FBR.
