Problems of Sialkot exporters will be solved soon: Dar

SIALKOT: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has assured that all the prolonged perturbing issues of Sialkot exporters would be resolved amicably, enabling them to struggle hard with full devotion, dedication, enthusiasm and complete peace of mind for boosting national economy by enhancing the nation’s exports.

He made this assurance during a recently held meeting with a delegation of Sialkot-based exporters, who called on him at his office in Islamabad to discuss in detail matters of mutual interest.

Giving a briefing on Sialkot exporters’ meeting with the finance minister, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Fazal Jillani said that the meeting was very successful and he assured to provide all necessary relief to the SME industries of Sialkot.

The SCCI president added that the finance minister has assured that Sialkot business community’s pending duty drawback claims up to the end of year 2014 would be cleared until July 15. Moreover, the pending sales tax refund cases where refunds’ payment orders had been issued by regional tax office would be cleared by July 15.
