Jawaznama is a license issued by Ministry of Commerce of Afghanistan to its nationals for trade of goods to and from the country. A duly verified copy of Jawaznama by Afghan Consulate is a must for processing of Afghan Transit Trade goods declaration.

According to an office order issued by the Directorate of Transit Trade, the processing of the Afghan Transit goods has been automated and the Afghan Ministry of Commerce has been provided access to the WeBOC automated system of the Pakistan Customs for the verification of Jawaznama and issuance of user IDs to Afghan nationals for trade of goods to and from Afghanistan.

The office order further said that the requisite WeBOC software has been implemented successfully and it has been provided to Afghan Focal Person nominated by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Commerce. The Afghan Ministry of Commerce has started issuing user IDs after issuance of Jawaznama.
