ISLAMABAD: The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) mafia, including marketing companies and dealers, is still exploiting the cold weather and shortage of natural gas in the country and selling the LPG from Rs180 to Rs250 in the federal capital, Rawalpindi and other cities of Punjab as the government has reduced the rate by Rs15 per kg to Rs130.

The LPG price cut-off would be implemented with immediate effect that will drop the LPG price to Rs130/kg in Lahore and its adjoining areas.
