Promotion of 26 Customs officers to BS-17 deferred

ISLAMABAD: The promotions of 26 Superintendents, Superintendent Preventive Service and Principal Appraisers to the post of Assistant Collectors have been deferred over different reasons.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee for promotion of BS-16 officers of Customs Departments against the post of Assistant Collector (BS-17) in Pakistan Customs Service, which was held in last week of March 2015. The committee recommended for deferment of the 26 BS-16 officers on panel for the reason mentioned against each.

In addition to above record of the following BS-16 officers on penal was also found incomplete as mentioned against each.

According to the notification, all the officers have been directed to complete the record as described within one month positively, otherwise their juniors will be promoted.
