4 Customs officers promoted to BS-21

KARACHI: The Central Selection Board (CSB) has promoted 21 officers of Inland Revenue Services (IRS) and Pakistan Customs Services (PCS) for BS-21 while another 57 officers have been promoted to BS-20.

About 17 officers of IRS were upgraded from BS-20 to BS-21. Only four officers of PCS were approved for promotion to BS-21. About 48 officers from IRS were promoted to Grade 20. About 19 officers of PCS were also upgraded but due to incomplete ACRs of three officers, the CSB directed the department to complete the formalities for final notification of entire batch of PCS.

In PCS, the officers including Tariq Nawaz, Khawar Fareed Maneka, Fateh Muhammad Shaikh and Mrs. Rubina Athar were promoted to BS-21.

For BS-20, the list of 16 officers includes: Suryia But, Dr. Nadeem Khan, Mukarram Jah Ansari, Qurban Ali, Ahmed Raza Khan, Mohammad Zubair Yousufani, Asif Mehmood Jah, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, Faiz Ahmed, Gul Rehman, Abdul Majid Yousufani, Ahmed Rauf, Mrs. Shehnaz Maqbool, Mohammad Asghar Khan, Mohammad Sadiq and Dr. Zulfiqar Ch.
