TOKYO: The PlayStation support team have announced the end of the scheduled maintenance, with all PSN services apparently back online.
They wrote on Twitter through Sony’s official account: “PSN is now online, after a scheduled maintenance.”
PlayStation community manager Chris Owen broke the news, revealing scheduled maintenance was planned between 5pm and 8.30pm UK time.
It means users will have no access to PlayStation Home or the PSN store during the scheduled window.
Fans found themselves unable to access certain features last night, with the PlayStation support team confirming on Twitter that they were actively seeking a solution to PSN connection issues.
“We are aware that some users are experiencing PSN issues. Thanks for your continued patience as we investigate.”
The message was posted again hours later, after a message stating the issue had been resolved had been posted by the team.
Fans will also be without the Account Management features until everything goes back online at around 9pm.
Online multiplayer will be available if a primary users has recently signed into their SEN accounts.
