ISLAMABAD: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has become the first oil marketing company to import Euro-V petrol in Pakistan.
According to a statement issued by the Petroleum Division, Pakistan State Oil has started importing Euro-V petrol and PSO is the country s first oil marketing company to import Euro 5 petrol.
The import of Euro-V diesel will also be started by January 2021. The Petroleum Division has already set up a testing lab for Euro Five petrol.
A spokesman for the Petroleum Division said that the Petroleum Division has issued policy guidelines on Euro-V petrol and diesel imports. The use of Euro-V petrol will help reduce environmental pollution, and private oil marketing companies are also expected to start importing Euro-V petrol.
