ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Friday clarified a news item appearing in a section of media regarding appointment of its Chairman Dr Syed Ismail Shah.
“Dr Syed Ismail Shah was appointed Chairman of PTA by the Federal Government on November 12, 2013. Upon completion of his four year-tenure on November 11, 2017, he relinquished his charge accordingly,” the authority said in a press release.
