PTA clears on April 12 all non-verified SIMs will be blocked; Say no to YouTube in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunications Authority Chairman has said that all non-verified SIMs will be shut in the country on April 12.

Speaking to reporters in Lahore, PTA Dr Syed Ismail Shah emphasised there would be no extension in the date for SIM verification. “The SIMs not verified by April 12 will be closed and consumers will need to have biometric verification done to have them reopened,” Dr Ismail said.
