ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in collaboration with the mobile operators, Internet Society (ISOC) Asia Pacific Bureau and Samsung Pakistan, has launched the Pakistan Mobile App Awards 2015.
PTA has invited individuals from Pakistan to submit innovative mobile applications in six different categories, with an overall objective to promote the use of high speed mobile internet for the benefit of the society. It will be a platform neutral competition to ensure equal opportunity regardless of the operating system. Applications can be submitted for Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows phone. According to the PTA, all submissions are subject to pre defined criteria which include innovation, ease of use and impact of the application.
