PTBA office bearers welcomed

LAHORE: The Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) has held a welcoming bash in honour of the newly elected office bearers of Pakistan Tax Bar Association (PTBA).

The PTBA has recently elected its new office bearers including President Aftab Hussain Nagra, Qari Habibur Rehman Zubari, General Secretary Ferhan Shahzad, Joint Secretary Mian Salman Akhtar, Information Secretary Shahbaz Saddiq and other.

The Pakistan Tax Bar Association is the parent body of all the 34 tax bars in the country and the LTBA has expressed its commitment to collaborate with the PTBA for the resolution of the taxpayers long standing issues and welfare of the tax practicing lawyers.  The LTBA president Khuram Sehabaz Butt, Vice President Asiq Ali Rana, Secretary General Saqib Munir and other members of the bar received the newly elected office bearers of the PTBA.

PTBA president and SVP Aftab Hussain Nagra, Qari Habibur Rehman Zubari, expressed their commitment to take along with them all the tax bars of the country to work in the larger national interest and guide the government on how to smoothly resolve the tax related issues amicably.

They were of the view that the tax bars have always been playing a central role in helping the government collect important revenues.  They also expressed their commitment to play the role of bridge between the government and citizens to develop mutual understanding thereby increasing the revenue collection.

They said that taxation is life line for the survival of every country and other hand the taxpayers hard earned money should also be used in the welfare works and human development.  They pledged to play the part in ensuring the right usage o0f the tax money and indicate it where it will be misused by anyway.

On the occasion, PTBA officer bearers lauded the services of the LTBA officer bearers and ensure them all out cooperation for the resolution of issues of national significance.
