PTCL declares Rs 62.6 billion revenue, records 3pc growth

FRIDAY: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) declared revenue of Rs 62.6 billion for quarter ended on September 30, registering a growth of 3 percent as compared to same period of the corresponding year. The gross and net profit of the Company stood at Rs. 20.9 and 8.7 billion respectively.

Announcing profitable quarter result riding on back of its growing fixed and wireless broadband business, the PTCL which is considered as the largest ICT services provider in the country said the cash flows remained healthy and stable due to consistent growth in the subscriber base and strong market position.

The PTCL earned revenue of Rs 99.3 billion during the reported period and net profit recorded at Rs. 7.8 billion while gross profit remained Rs. 34.2 billion.

President & CEO of PTCL, Walid Irshaid expressing his satisfaction over the financial performance said the dedication and resilience of staff to restore services in flood affected areas and to resurrect entire facility in a matter of days demonstrated our commitment. He said profitable third quarter results once again showed ability to work with diversified product line aligned with market demand.
