ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) earned revenue of Rs19.2 billion, while gross profit remained Rs6.1 billion in first quarter of calendar year 2015.
The PTCL’S revenues were Rs30.2 billion for period ended March 31, 2015, while gross and net profit of group stood at Rs8.5 billion and Rs0.716 billion respectively.
PTCL Walid Irshaid President said, “The company’s strategy of continuous investment in next generation communications infrastructure has translated in a robust first quarter performance and enabled us to deliver for our shareholders”.
PTCL cash flows remained strong owing to steady growth in subscriber base and strong market position backed by Company’s growing fixed and wireless broadband business.
