DELHI: Bajaj Auto has announced to launch five new bikes in India in next few months. The company will soon launch its fully-faired 200cc Pulsar, which has already been spotted several times during its test. The company has released a teaser image of the bike with a tagline ‘Fastest Pulsar yet coming soon’ on its Facebook page. The teaser image also reveals that the bike will be named as the Pulsar RS 200 instead of the Pulsar 200 SS.

Based on the Pulsar NS 200, the Pulsar RS 200 shares it’s styling with the SS 400 concept showcased at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show. The vehicle would share its engine line-up with the 200 NS. It is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder triple-spark liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 23.52PS at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 18.3Nm at 8,000rpm.

The affordable sports bike will be equipped with dual projector headlamps; LED daytime running lights integrated in fairing and LED taillamps. The bike will be offered in four shades three dual tones Yellow, Blue and Red with white as secondary and the Black.

The company is yet to start taking pre-orders for the Pulsar RS 200; however, few dealers have already started taking advance bookings for the bike. The Pulsar RS 200 is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.10 lakh to Rs. 1.35 lakh.
