KARACHI: India’s growing distress over unfavourable domestic political dynamics, failed strategy towards Kashmir issue, freedom struggle and regional developments in favour of Pakistan have led to the premeditated Pulwama attack on 14.2.2019. Indian Prime Minister wants to use anti-Pakistan card in general elections 2019 as his party was fast losing ground in several states.

Soon after the occurrence of Pulwama incident; prompt linking of it with JeM, and directly blaming Pakistan without proofs/investigation and unfolding of options by Government of India/media speak of the incident as a “premeditated activity”.

India also got worried due to Pakistan’s growing ties with GCC countries especially Saudi Arabia and UAE and recent visit of Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman and announcement of 21 billion dollars investment in Pakistan disturbed the Indian ruling party. Other reasons that timings of Pulwama attack were favourable for India include important case of Kalbhushan Jhadav and FATF meeting in Paris. India wanted to put pressure on the International Court of Justice and world community to include the name of Pakistan in grey list of FATF.
