LAHORE: Provincial Finance Minister Aysha Ghaus Pasha has said that Punjab budget will be presented on June 12 and all homework in this regard has been completed.
She said that the budget will be people-friendly while costs of some items will be raised in the upcoming budget.
She further said that the Punjab government employees will get 7.5 percent raise in their salaries while their medical allowance and pension will also be increased. The budget for Danish Schools will be enhanced from Rs 5 billion to Rs 12 billion in the budget.
It is to be mention here that as holy month of Ramzan is approaching fast common people are expecting a friendly budget because during Ramzan prices of daily usable items are also increased by the retailers.
