LAHORE: Country Director of Asian Development Bank Dr Emma Xiaoqin Fan called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Monday.
The meeting discussed increasing collaboration in agriculture, health, education, infrastructure, environmental protection, and digital development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister acknowledged the Asian Development Bank’s significant role in development of the province and economic recovery.
She emphasized that the provincial government is advancing the socio-economic development agenda through comprehensive planning.
On this occasion, Dr. Emma Xiaoqin appreciated the Punjab government’s initiatives for women empowerment and public welfare.
She expressed the Asian Development Bank’s keen interest in further enhancing cooperation with Pakistan.
