Punjab CM Usman Buzdar to introduce e-tender for govt contracts

LAHORE: The Punjab government on Tuesday decided to introduce “e-tendering” system for government contracts in order to eliminate corruption.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar approved the decision of e-tendering and said the system will be introduced soon in government departments.

He added that the e-tendering system will be introduced in stages, while the system will be completely implemented from the new financial year.

All departments will be bound to pay the contract under the e-tendering system, the chief minister added.
