Punjab Excise Dept extends discount on property tax till Nov 30

LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department again extended the
date of discount on property tax payment to November 30.

The date has been extended to increase revenue and to control the shortfall in property tax collection.
To increase the tax recovery, the Punjab Government has issued a notification
of five percent discount on property tax.

property tax before November 30 will also get advantage from this
discount and their extra amount will be adjusted in the next tax. Almost 400,000 taxpayers from Lahore will benefit from this relief, he added.
