Punjab Excise offers 10pc discount on token tax till July 31

MULTAN: The Excise and Taxation Punjab is providing the facility of 10 percent discount on payment of token tax of the motor vehicles till July 31, 2015.

Motor vehicles are important source of tax collection for Excise and Taxation Department and provincial exchequer.

Director General Excise and Taxation Punjab, Ahmad Aziz Tarar has announced that ten per cent discount will be offered to taxpayers on the payment of token tax fee by the end of running month July, 2015. However, after July 31 the token fee will be doubled.
