Punjab govt provides 90% subsidy on laser machines

SARGODHA: The Punjab government is providing 90 per cent subsidy to farmers on laser machines.

This was stated by Director Agriculture, Entrepreneurship Development Programme Iftikhar Ahmed Chughtai while talking to APP here on Wednesday.

He said drill,sugarcane equipments, laser, rotator, spray machine and other agri equipments were also being given to farmers on subsidized rates in each union council. He said 30 to 50 per cent subsidy was being given on sprinkler and drip irrigation units while applications were also being invited from farmers.

He added that 50 per cent of subsidy was being provided on medicines and farmers were getting benefits after receiving variety of quality seeds.
