Punjab govt provides motorcycles to Rawalpindi Excise officials

RAWALPINDI: The constables of Excise and Taxation Department have received motorcycles donated by the Punjab government.

According to details, the Punjab government has asked the Excise and Taxation Department Rawalpindi to provide a list of constables who need motorcycles for performing their duties.

The Excise and Taxation Department provided list of those constables who were working in the field.

Meanwhile, DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dall and Director Excise and Taxation Tanveer Iqbal Gondal handed over keys of motorcycles to the constables.

It is important to mention here that the primary purpose of providing the motorbikes to constables of the Excise and Taxation to fulfill their responsibilities in a better way and giving them bike will assist the Excise staff for the achievement of tax collection. Those constables are not eligible for the motor bikes from the Department who have less than five years remaining in their retirement.
