RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has released an amount of over Rs 350 million to carry out development projects in 14 provincial assembly constituencies of Rawalpindi district.
Talking to APP, Secretary Development and Planning Punjab, Irfan Ellahi said the funds will be spent on construction of roads, streets and purchase of furniture for government schools.
Over Rs 25 million each have been released for constituencies PP-1 to PP-14, he said mentioning that the funds had been approved in the 2015-16 Budget.
“Work on these projects starts soon and will be completed before December 2015,” he added
