LAHORE: Punjab Finance Department has decided to initiate inquiry into Rs 20 million capital value tax fraud.
According to the details, Board of Revenue Punjab chief inspector of stamp sent verified capital value tax challans to Finance Department in which 392 challans involving Rs 20 million found fake and unverified by the department.
In this case, the finance department has decided to launch inquiry through Anti-Corruption Department into the tax fraud case.
The case will be sent to the anti-corruption by the government to found the miscreants involved in this scam.
