LAHORE: Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board Chairman Syed Yawar Ali has appreciated the staff of Livestock Experiment Station on rapid growth, during his visit to station in Khizerabad, Sargodha to examine the ongoing activities and development projects there.
PLDDB Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Farooq briefed the chairman about all projects. Syed Yawar also visited the mechanised fodder cutting site and urged the staff to make it more advanced. He also visited newly-established Genetic Improvement Centre.
PLDDB chairman said, “Sahiwali cow is our national asset and we have planned to preserve and upgrade this breed through Research & Development so that we could get good milk and meat production through this local breed.”
Silage Project GM M Zahoor Ahmad and other officers were also with the Chairman.
