LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has started crackdown against restaurants involved in tax evasion and low tax paying.
Sources told Customs Today that a team of Punjab Revenue Authority under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Enforcement Zaka Ullah took action against Haveli Restaurant Food which is situated in Food Street Shahi Qila because during scrutiny of the company’s tax statement it was came to notice of the audit team that the restaurant is involved in tax evasion.
Sources said that Haveli Restaurant has been involved in tax evasion for one year and also showing low sales record in documents.
Punjab Revenue Authority has also sealed many motor workshops during one week in different areas of the city due to same reason.
