LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Excise & Taxation, Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman has said an amount of Rs.244 billion has been allocated which is 26 percent of the budget for the promotion of education.
He said that tough decisions have been taken for ensuring respect of teachers and provision of a peaceful atmosphere in educational institutions.
He expressed these views while distributing prizes among successful students at the conclusion of ‘Artathon’ arranged by College of Art & Design at Alhamra.
