Quetta Appraisement exceeds CD collection target by 25pc

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement has collected Customs Duty of Rs696 million as against target  of  Rs559 million during November 2020, surpassing the target by 25 percent.

Sources told that during the period July-November 2020, the Collectorate has collected customs duty (CD) of Rs3.001 billion as against target of Rs2.346 billion surpassing the target by impressive 28 percent.

The collectorate made this achievement under the dynamic supervision of Chief Collector Gul Rehman, and Collector Appraisement and Facilitation Abdul Waheed Marwat and hard work of all team members.

Moreover, Baluchistan Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantity of foreign origin diesel at Panjgor. Panjgor Customs Mobile Squad recovered 35,000 liters of Iranian diesel worth Rs10 million.

Collector Appraisement and Facilitation Abdul Waheed Marwat using all available resources to curb smuggling attempts in the region. Due to comprehensive policy adopted by the Collectorate marginable decrease is being witnessed in the smuggling attempts.
