Quetta ASO seizes non-duty paid goods & vehicles worth Rs103m

QUETTA: Deputy Collector Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Maqbool Baloch said that ASO impounded 45 non duty paid vehicles and goods worth Rs103 million during month of July.

Talking with Customs Today, the deputy collector said that the ASO seized 10515 kilograms of smuggled foreign origin betel nuts worth Rs2.3 million as well as the ASO seized 10615 yards of smuggled fabric tyres and tubes worth Rs.3.3 million.

The ASO seized liquor worth of Rs18900 whereas it seized 73450 liters of smuggled diesel worth Rs5.2 million, Maqbool Baloch added that during month of July FY2018, the ASO seized 301 cartons of fake foreign cigarettes worth Rs4.9 million while it seized 347 blankets worth Rs1.2 million as well as the ASO seized 750000 sachets of all brands of gutka worth Rs4.2 million. The ASO seized 630 kilograms of hashish (charas) during month of July FY2018.
