Quetta Customs, FC seize narcotics worth Rs50m at Noshki check post

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Preventive team in a joint operation with Frontier Corps Wing No. 110  seized drugs worth Rs50 million at Noshki check post.

According to details, Collector Irfan Javed received credible information that some smugglers trying to smuggle drugs, after which he gave special instructions to Deputy Collector Farid Rind.

In a joint operation with Frontier Corps Balochistan’s Wing No. 110, the ASO (anti smuggling Organization) Quetta seized a van going inland on the main RCD highway, the staff stopped and checked it.

After thorough checking, the customs squad seized 8 kilograms of ice and 5,040 kilogram of brown sugar.

According to customs officials, the drugs seized were worth more than Rs50 million.

Two persons were arrested in the operation named Fazlur Rehman son of Dildar and Fida son of Muhammad Khair.

Legal action has been taken against both of offenders, It is clear that brown sugar is the most expensive drug sold in the world.
