QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) has impounded huge quantity of smuggled goods at Baluchistan-Punjab border.
Collector Quetta Khalid Hussain Jamali and Additional Collector Aftab Ullah Shah lauded the performance of Assistant Collector Asad Saleem, Check Post In-charge Inspector Zaman Mazari and other staff.
Sources said that the goods were being transported were tactfully concealed under rotten apples. The seized goods include cigarettes, Chinese salt and non-custom-paid Yamaha motorcycle. The value of the seized goods along with the transporting truck comes to Rs20 million. Further proceedings are underway.
