Quetta Customs foils bid to smuggle goods worth Rs20m to Punjab

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) Rakhni has impounded huge quantity of smuggled whey powder along with the container and truck heading to Punjab. The value of the seized goods comes to Rs20 million.

Sources said that Chief Collector Muhammad Sadiq received credible information about smuggling of goods. He directed Collector Quetta Khalid Hussain Jamali to take all necessary measures to thwart any attempt of smuggling. Collector Khalid Hussain Jamali constituted special customs squad under the supervision of Additional Collector Moen Afzal.
