QUETTA: Customs has seized huge quantity of smuggled goods worth Rs31.5 million from three passenger buses coming from Iran and arrested their drivers.
On the direction of Quetta Collector Saeed Jadoon, Assistant Collector Mahabat Khan Mandokhail kept strict vigilance on the passenger buses coming from Iran to thwart any smuggling bid.
The Customs officers intercepted three different buses and recovered huge quantities of smuggled goods including carpets, detergents, shampoos, sweaters, tyres, gas burners, electric wires, dinner sets, electronics, fabric and plastic household goods.
