KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Quetta, has recovered 25,000 liters of Iranian diesel while during another action, the authorities seized 350 mobile phones.
Sources informed Customs Today that a team, under the supervision of Deputy Collector Inamullah Wazir, intercepted an oil tanker near Bolali check-post and recovered 25,000 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel. The Customs team arrested the driver of the oil tanker and registered a case against him.
During another crackdown, the customs intelligence recovered 350 imported mobile phones and 300 memory cards during checking of a car near Larry Adda. The market value of the seized mobiles is Rs 800,000.
