Quetta Customs recovers smuggled jeeps

KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation, during a crackdown, has seized smuggled jeeps and forged number plates.

Sources told Customs Today that the jeeps were being smuggled from Karachi to Afghanistan via Chaman border. Sources said that customs authorities received information about the smuggling attempt. The ASO team intercepted a truck and during searching process recovered two jeeps with forge number plates.
