Quetta Customs seals 47 illegal petrol pumps during crackdown

QUETTA: Customs Collectorate team with the assistance of local police and magistrate sealed and dismantled 47 illegal mini petrol pumps during last three days.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Ashraf Ali formed special anti-smuggling squad under the supervision of Assistant Collector Akmal Durani and Umair Arshad with the assistance of local police and magistrate to take stern action against illegal petrol umps operating illegally.

Sources told that at Nawa Kili 17 pumps were sealed while on  Hazara Gunji area more than 30 pumps were sealed within three days. Sources further said that more than 47 pumps those were either dismantled or sealed.

It is necessary to mention here that crackdown against illegal petrol pumps and narcotics smugglers is still continue.
