Quetta Customs seizes non-duty paid molding machines & plastic dana worth Rs9.45m

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs team seized non-customs paid molding machines and crystal, black and white plastic dana worth Rs 9.45 million including vehicle being used for smuggling.

Sources told Customs Today on 3rd December morning that Deputy Collector Junaid Mehmood received secret information that some smugglers are trying to smuggle non-customs paid  molding machines and crystal, black and white plastics Dana from Gwadar to Afghanistan.

After receiving this information, he constituted a raiding team under the supervision of Customs Preventive Inspector Zubair Shah, Waseem Khan and others. The team, during a search operation on Bar area, intercepted a vehicle bearing registration no GDJ-0552.

During search, the team impounded more than 10 non duty paid molding machines, 120 big packets of crystal, white and black plastic valued at Rs 9.45 million including truck being used in smuggling.

The team seized all smuggled items and arrested two smugglers. Sources told that customs official started investigations from accused persons.
