KARACHI: Customs and Frontier Corps authorities of Quetta seized different smuggled items during a crackdown against smugglers.
Sources told Customs Today that Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations Quetta received information about smuggling attempts in Bostan area of Quetta.
Soon after receiving the tip off, Director Customs Intelligence Iqbal Bohwana constituted a raiding team which seized a huge quantity of smuggled diesel, petrol, clothes and a huge quantity of Indian origin betel nuts. Customs team also arrested two accused persons from the scene. Further investigations are still in progress.
