QUETTA: The Customs authorities have seized a large quantity of smuggled and non-duty paid goods worth Rs6.28 million.
On a tipoff that attempt would be made to transport smuggled goods, Deputy Collector Preventive Junaid Mehmood kept strict vigilance on orders of Quetta Collector Saeed Jadoon. During monitoring, the road checking team intercepted a six-wheeler Hino truck and found foreign origin miscellaneous goods after examination of the vehicle. The confiscated goods include tyres, cosmetics, auto parts, blankets, cigarettes and insecticides etc.
