Quetta Customs seizes smuggled Iranian diesel

KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations has seized 90,000 liters of Iranian smuggled diesel.

Sources told Customs Today that director customs intelligence received information regarding smuggling of Iranian diesel after which he formed a customs team.

The customs team intercepted a truck which was coming from Quetta and heading towards Karachi and seized smuggled Iranian diesel. The Customs team asked the driver of the vehicle to produce legal documents regarding the legal possession of Iranian diesel but he failed to provide any documents. The customs team arrested two suspects and registered a case of smuggling against them.
