Quetta Enforcement impounds smuggled goods worth Rs 251.325m

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta, in a successful Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO), conducted with the assistance of other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), and the District Administration Kalat, seized large consignments of smuggled goods with a total estimated value of Rs. 251.325 million.

The seized contraband comprised foreign-origin betel nuts and cloth which were being transported illegally in violation of customs laws. The tentative cost, insurance and freight value of the recovered goods has been assessed at Rs. 251.325 million.
