Quetta Intelligence director suspends officials, orders inquiry over corruption charges

QUETTA: Quetta Customs Intelligence Director Irfan Javed has suspended two officials of his team and ordered inquiry against another official on the charges of corruption.

Two sepoys Maqbool Ahmed and Nooruddin were put on suspension due to their negligence in performing their duty at State Warehouse, Killi Gul Muhammad, Quetta. Irfan Javed has also ordered an investigation against the officials.

Moreover, the Director has also ordered formal inquiry against Intelligence officer Muhammad Nasrullah for prima-facie misreporting of facts. The inquiry proceedings have duly been initiated and respective letter issued to the official to ascertain factual position.
