Quetta Preventive impounds 9 NDP luxury vehicles near Lakpas check post

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Preventive expedited its efforts against non-customs paid vehicles, and impounded nine luxury vehicles worth millions of rupees.

According to the details, Collector Customs Preventive Irfan Javed assigned monitoring task to Additional Collector Yasir Kalwar, who directed Deputy Collector Akbar Jan to enhance vigilance against non-custom-paid vehicles.

The vehicles were impounded at Lakpas Check Post. Superintendent Aslam Khan, Inspectors Ahmad NAwaz Zehri and Muhammad Hashim took part in the operation.

It is necessary to mention here that Collector Customs Preventive directed all anti-smuggling squads to adopt zero tolerance policy against smuggling. He directed that anyone who found involved in smuggling should be dealt as per law.
